GSSC celebrates a year of milestones and achievements in 2025
As 2025 comes to a close, it’s time to reflect on another year of growth, innovation, and collaboration at ESA’s GNSS Science Support Centre (GSSC). Starting the year with an ambitious roadmap, we worked together to deliver key advancements that continue strengthening our services. Here are some of the major highlights from 2025:
1. GSSC Data Lake Enhancements
• Monitoring & Automation: Improved dashboards and real-time data tracking.
• Security & Reliability: Strengthened protection measures, enhanced system stability, and easier access.
2. GSSC Now 2.0 Fully Operational
• New Look: Explorer View filters are now in a top menu for improved clarity and usability.
• Simplified User Experience: More intuitive navigation, enabling faster and more efficient workflows.
• Performance Improvements:
• Faster and more reliable system performance.
• Significant server upgrades and optimisations.
• Enhanced core components and an improved database layer.
• Increased platform stability across all services.
3. GSSC Datalabs Integrated Under ESA Datalabs
2025 marked significant progress in integrating GSSC Datalabs within the ESA Datalabs platform, reinforcing synergies, interoperability, and collaboration across ESA’s platforms.
4. Navipedia Contribution Process
GSSC enhanced Navipedia by enabling contributors, supporting the growth and accessibility of GNSS knowledge resources for the scientific community.
These achievements were made possible thanks to the continuous commitment and collaboration of ESA, GMV, and Starion teams.
