We are excited to announce the latest release of the ESA GNSS Science Exploitation Platform, GSSC Now 1.1.0, packed with exciting new features and enhancements. Let’s dive into what’s new:
- GSSC Homepage:
- “The 9th International Colloquium on Scientific and Fundamental Aspects of GNSS” announced here
- “GSSC Now reaches 250 million indexed GNSS public assets” announced here
- GSSC Now Webinar content now available and announced here
- Enhanced responsive design for displaying cards on the GSSC homepage
- Introduced the “Events” section within the Education area on the GSSC homepage (Figure 1)
- Enhanced the publications section to incorporate any previously omitted contributions in conferences, papers, etc.
- Updated 3D representation of the Galileo constellation incorporating the latest constellation status, orbital dynamics, and technical specifications
- Improved Self-Registration Page for “Public Beta Preview Moderated Program”
- GSSC Now platform:
- GSSC Now paper published in Advances in Space Research
- Antex files from OPS-GN Navigation Support Office and IGS now available
- DOI generated for ESA ANTEX files
- Support to multi-GNSS DCB products upgrade (previously referred to as MGEX)
- Open in Datalab feature: limited the selection of assets to be made available within selection folder
- Transferred from OpenStreetMap to Mapbox
- Improved the usability of the calendar day (Figure 2)
- Limited search bar input to Apache Lucene syntax for better accuracy
- Performance optimizations, bug fixes, and security, stability, and accessibility improvements

Preview Programme
GSSC Now’s Preview Programme provides early access for selected users to try out new features of the platform before they are rolled out to the general public.
At the moment, access to functionalities like multiple downloads, datalabs, personal workspace or some restricted datasets are limited to Preview Programme members. Should you want to become a member, you need to complete GSSC Now’s Preview Programme registration request here. Once received, your request will be evaluated within 5 working days.
