ANTEX
ANTEX is an International GNSS Service (IGS) standardized ASCII file format defined by the IGS Antenna Committee that is used to store both satellite and receiver antennas corrections.
ANTEX content
ANTEX files provide key GNSS antenna information such as antenna identifiers, Phase Center Offsets (PCOs), and Phase Center Variations (PCVs).
The ESA Navigation Support Office also generates ESA ANTEX files by considering all available GNSS antennas calibration information with the objective to improve the International Terrestrial Reference Frame (ITRF). Particularly, first ESA ANTEX file was generated in response to scale changes introduced by ITRF2020, namely BeiDou and QZSS Phase Center Offset (PCO) estimated values, measured Galileo PCO/PCV values as well as GPS Block III PCO values. This alignment now serves as the foundation for ESA’s precise scale determination.
